GlassGard® Balustrade System

GlassGard® is a freestanding structural glass balustrade with a continuous polished stainless steel handrail which can be top or side mounted. Toughened glass from 12mm - 25mm thick is used.

The exact glass specification is dependant on applied loads confirmed in accordance BS 6180 and varies according to building type and use. Toughened glass is typically heat soak tested however toughened laminated glass may also be specified where a suitable fixing system is used.

 GlassGard® Options
  • Various handrail options including stainless steel, timber and stainless steel
  • Glass can be sandblasted and filmed
  • Designs/logos can be etched into glass panels
  • Side mounted, top fixed or bracket mounted options
