Corrosion destroys.zinc saves
Hot dip galvanising has long been recognised as being the leading process for steel corrosion prevention. The process involves the immersion of prepared steel in molten zinc to produce a metallurgically bonded coating. The zinc coating corrodes preferentially to provide cathodic (sacrifical) protection.
